Today is supposed to be the last perfect day we will have this week. The weather has been beautiful for the last week, perfect in fact. Sunny, warm, and very few clouds in the sky. Tomorrow we could see some rain, and Thursday they are calling for rain. The weekend is supposed to bring us unseasonably cold weather. Now I'm not complaining. I have been really blessed this spring, with health and happiness. We aren't shoveling (or mowing) snow in our yard, we are actually mowing it. We are watering our trees and grass seed that we planted, not worrying quite so much about our plants freezing (although they could freeze early next week...)
Yesterday wasn't a good day for me food wise. I stopped at the store hungry and purchased candy. CANDY??????I have a rule that I can only buy candy at the grocery store once a week, or if I walk to the store and earn the points to eat the candy. So what possessed me yesterday to make a stop at the store to purchase candy? I'm not really sure. Today is garbage day though, and the candy that is left is going in the garbage. I'm actually a bit disgusted with myself. I get 26 points per day through weight watchers. I had 18 points worth of candy yesterday, along with 11 points in Special K chips (yup that's the whole box). That's what I get for "skipping" lunch before my dentist appointment and then not making myself a salad when I got home. UGH! Today's another day though, so lessons learned for now, and I'll work hard for the rest of the week to eat healthy and be active!
I am the only one who can do this for myself.
I make the choice of what I put in my mouth and what I don't.
I make the choice to exercise or not daily
I make the choice to have a positive frame of mind
I make the choice to be healthy!
