Tonight I ate my first healthy meal on my new diet/work out plan. It consisted of whole grain pasta with my dads healthy homemade marinara, frozen mixed veggies, and 1/2 cup of unsweetened apple sauce. Drank only water to wash it down, instead of milk. Milk is good for me, but it's usually taking up too much of my calories each day, and I am trying to make drinking lots of water a habit, since I'm used to juices and dairy drinks. I also did my first workout tonight. A 30-minute full-body pilates video. It felt great. I definitely felt the release of endorphins at the end of my video which helped my depression fade away for a bit.
Tomorrow morning I am going to a class called yogalates at 8:45 am. I have to ride my bike there, since I don't have a driver's license. (My wallet got stolen) Then after that I'm biking home to shower and take the bus to the DMV across town. I felt good about doing the work out video tonight, and I really hope that I feel good after attending that class tomorrow. My amazing and supportive boyfriend, is going to wake up with me, which is sweet considering we are currently long distance, so he's an hour before me. He'll be waking up at 6:45 just to motivate me and encourage me. I'm not a morning person, and I'm dreading waking up for this class, but I've gone once before, and it was an AMAZING class. And I really want to continue going. It's on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I think I'll try to fit in Zumba, or a different more cardio related class into my weekly schedule as well. I am also going to start Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred. I'm going to Wal-Mart with my mom tomorrow to buy some appropriately sized hand weights for the video. :)
Well I didn't track my food for tonight because it seemed like a waste since it was an incomplete day. Tomorrow I will track all my meals. :) Until next time!
