I've been away for several days.
I went to see my family in another state and it was an emotional minefield nearly the entire time I was there.

The stress of emotionally and physically dealing with the things that were going on in the family caused a fibromyalgia flare as well as triggered emotional overeating.

I didn't have a lot of choice in the foods that were offered to eat, and there were two parties as well. Thus I gained nearly two pounds while I was away.

But, I've been there and done that before, so I'll just work on losing it again.
I got home around two-thirty this morning and have been really tired and rather sad today.
Tomorrow I am going to begin again walking toward Subiaco and the monks.

So glad you are safely home, that is the most important thing. My belief about the greatness of Sparkpeople is that it reminds us that no matter what, we must live in this world and deal with all the things (and people) that come our way. This MawMaw is so proud of you for knowing that you can't change everything so just keep working on yourself! Well done!

    Thank you, Julie.
    Yep. I'll be alright.
I've been reading some blogs and commenting.
I'm already feeling better, getting my mind back in focus on losing the weight, and especially getting motivated again and more upbeat.

It's been a really tough couple of weeks but I'm going to do all I can to turn the negatives into positives.

I will try to get over to your page later today and catch up on what is happening in your world.

Thank you for stopping by and leaving a word of encouragement.

    You're a good friend. emoticon

Welcome home. I hope you got some rest. Don't worry about the two pounds. You will get it back off quickly.
