April, May and our Garden:-)

April was a great month! I didn't quite get to the 2500 minutes I set out to reach but I think some of that was from trying to figure out this new tracker. I did manage to be consistent with strength training the entire month. emoticon I think I had less coffee too.:-) Of course, I have been getting more outdoor activity that I don't track but is in addition to my workouts.

So far so good for May. Took the day off Sunday, then had a hard time getting motivated today. I hopped on Spark people to get that extra motivation. :-) (did get a 30 min walk in) Planning on a run in the morning.

We are just thrilled with our garden so far! It's very satisfying to grow your own food. No need to worry about pesticides and GMOs.:-)

lettuce looks yummy


We visit a farmers field in our area for organic produce and we pick it ourselves. This year I asked hubby to plant cherry tomatoes and squash and peppers. Our fruit trees are going nuts this year and the nectarines are already ripe!

    Looks very tasty! Sounds like your doing excellent! I'm up late tonight trying to jump start my sputtering motor... emoticon I ate bread last week and it always messes with my head and the scale .. figured it's time to do a little hardcore focusing.
