Getting the "Jitters"

Less than 5 days until Mud on the Mountain! I am getting the jitters! I am so nervous, excited, anxious and about 1,000 other emotions I don't have any way to describe!
My hip has been bothering me again... ugh. I went to the Chiro today and he popped it back in, but it still hurts. After Mud, I am going to have to take a week or two off. I don't really want to do that, but I will if I have to. I don't want to risk further injury and be laid up for even longer. I will just have to pay VERY careful attention to my nutrition. No extra snacks, low carbs, very limited grains, no BLTs... the reason I am able to do that is because I workout a lot. I will have to drop my calorie count down... I can handle it. LOL
I was thinking maybe light walking would be ok... but I would feel so stupid being at the gym and walking at 2.5 mph on the treadmill when I am used to a lot of different. I am not sure which I will do, but I will need to take a little time off. I am just afraid that a little time off will turn into a lot of time off... but if I don't get this hip taken care of it could turn into a lot of time off regardless.
I bought a few great dresses on clearance at Kohls - the one reminds me of my Grandmother's couch circa 1975 - it is great! I will post pictures later.
