For a about a month my stomach had been bothering me. It may have had to do with Mobic, which I was taking for foot pain. I'd had a neuroma removed last year, which had helped with the foot pain a lot, but there is still something wrong with my foot.

Because my stomach had become so sensitive, I was having to be very careful about eating, but I was also getting to walk less. Now I seem to be getting back to normal by not taking anything for my foot right now. I'm still walking, even with foot discomfort but the discomfort wasn't much less with Mobic.

Through all of this, I've gone down a few pounds on the scale. I'm not trying to lose weight fast and have been happy with my slow results. I know I'm going to get where I want to go in the next few months. I ordered the new Spark book and will be getting it soon. I'm going to use the book to really get things in order with my body. I think it'll be fun and I know I'll have good results. emoticon emoticon emoticon

Going for a walk now with my husband. emoticon

I'm on 3 different meds for my Fibromyalgia, and Mobic is one of them. I don't have any bad side effects from them...just things like hot flashes and sweating. My face gets very red when the hot flash comes on, and people often think it's caused by high blood pressure.

I am hoping to get off of these meds before too long, but my pain management doctor thinks it's too soon to do that. He wants me to lose more weight before trying. I will be so happy when the hot flashes stop. I already went through this once with menopause...then it started all over again!

Hope you get your foot straightened out soon, it's got to be hard enjoying your walks when your foot is uncomfortable. I've recently started using padded moleskin on the balls of my feet. My feet always rub in my shoes and causes pain when I walk for exercise. The moleskin seems to help.

I hope you figure out the fix for your foot!! Not fun.
: (

I started working out in the pool in January when I was recovering from something similar. I had not surgery, though because it wasn't a neuroma. Shots and orthotics and then rest to let all the inflammation go away sent me to the pool. it was therapeutic in many ways and turns out treading water burns a ton of calories!!

Perhaps a pool could help you work out, let the foot heal, and give your stomach a chance to recover from the pain meds.
