To many Chinese buffets

Monday, May 06, 2013

I have gone riding around with my aunt to Michael's craft store and visiting another family member in the hospital; which was good EXCEPT she likes to stop for chinese food alot. I like Chinese food too but I ended up gaining a pound by the end of the week and that I didn't like.

I'm still didn't eat much bread, crackers, chips or pasta this week. But I did eat rice and a couple granola bars and an order of sweet-potato fries.

Time to put the big girl panties on and take back control of my eating...before I really do have to buy BIG panties...UUGhh

Remember I had already discovered that buffets were bad news while I lived in Phoenix. So just because I am finally back home in NH after many, many years...I don't have to revert back to childhood and eat whatever my family wants me to. I am still an adult and need to make sure that they know that too.

I'm always afraid to eat at any kind of buffet. I worry about how long the food has been sitting out at what temp. There so many food born illnesses these days. Except for Sweet Tomatoes, that is. Their produce is so fresh.
