This last week wasn't as smooth and the week before - I was really nervous to get on the scale this morning. Very excited that it was moving in the right direction! Down 1 more!
We had a BBQ at my house last night, and I consumed a bit more than I had planned. The good news is that a lot of it was lean protein, fruit and this yummmmmmmmmy fruit dip (that wasn't as healthy as I had thought it was! oh well!). It could have been worse, but everything was so good! It was great to kick back with friends and I enjoyed myself. My fridge is FULL of leftovers from everybody so my challenge will be not eating it all by myself. Good thing husband has a huge appetite (and he's slim - lucky dog), so he can work on it for me.
It's been unseasonably hot here in the Northwest - 20 degrees above normal. It feels like the end of July! I was getting dressed yesterday, and was trying on some of my summer clothes - and most of they were not fitting well. It was pretty depressing, at one point I said out loud "Wow, I sure have gotten big!".
I'm down 8 pounds in the last 3 weeks, and I'm still hoping to be down a total of 15 by June 8th - 7lbs to go! I need to up my workouts this week, as I've been doing the bare minimum.
