I'm going to do a few things differently in my Spark journey and see how it goes. I'm super frustrated with my lack of progress, which translates to being frustrated with myself.
So I joined the 10-minute daily exercise streak challenge team. I've been slacking on my intentional activity for a few weeks and really have to get myself moving again. I'm not going to kill myself, but if I can't manage at least 15 minutes a day then my priorities are clearly out of whack. Most of the workouts I do regularly are at least 30 minutes and I think I can manage that most days. But my goal? 15 minutes minimum.
A sub-goal to that is leaving work. After work when everyone leaves is usually the time my director, my colleague and I have to talk. One night last week I was here until 8:30! But usually it's at least 6:30 or 7. I have got to pledge to leave my desk by 5:35 to catch the 5:40 shuttle.
I'm also stepping away from the scale for a while. It has too much power over my emotions. BLC 22 starts in a few weeks and I may stay away from it until day 1 of the challenge.
I'm also starting a no-soda streak. I officially started it yesterday, but I think this is really day 4 or 5 sans Diet Pepsi.
