Sticking with it! (day 3 again)

Monday, May 06, 2013

So after breaking through the 155.0 barrier to the 154.8 weight of yesterday I did day 3 of the winter menu again and this time only added chocolate. ( 1 oz) So the test was meant to be the 1 oz chocolate.

I took my own food ( veggies and chicken ) to the bbq and I thought I could just have their salad. Sounds easy enough, right?

Turns out they only had romaine lettuce as salad! SIGH! Not supposed to eat that! ( just baby romaine)
I forgot that strawberries are not considered a berry and had 2 large ones.
This morning I was the same weight, 154.8!

So there goes that test!

SO I am redoing day 3 but this time using the spring menu! That means I get to have watermelon!

My fear is that I am SOOOO sensitive to sugar that I will be stuck on day 3 forever without the 1 oz chocolate and coffee!
If tomorrow's weigh in proves to be good I am going on to RETEST goat's cheese.

Let's hope I can get past day 4. Getting bored with the same veggies! I want to add butternut to the mix for some variety, but have to wait until after day 4!

Yes I am a little frustrated, I don't have a CLEAR idea of what my body wants and needs right now, still experimenting, but I am sticking with it!

Here's one of my older pics!

When we got home from the family BBQ at about 8:30 pm I had to pack the dishwasher, get kids in bed and then go grocery shopping.
They towed away my little car today! SAD! My husband thinks I am crazy being sentimental about my car!
So we are officially down to ONE CAR now!
We got $150 for it! It is going to scrap!

Here's to moving to day 4 soon! What's the diff Between Romain and baby Romain?

I still miss my little nova that I had years ago so I hear you when you're being sentimental about your car. Have a great Monday good luck with the plan. I totally agree with what you commented on my page about handheld devices. Oh and I have a bottle of cola in my fridge haven't even been tempted to have any. Yeah!

Don't get frustrated! It's a science project, don't blame your body. A stall is always a pass in my book, and reading post on FB of other "planners" they all experience stalls.
The trick is to just move on. Enjoy the spring menu day 3 and then do day 4 without the chocolate (as you are sugar sensitive) to test the goat cheese. Even if the weight stays the same, move on from there. Don't keep going back to day 3 because your body will get used to those foods and they will stop "working" for you.
The thing I learned doing the Plan: don't be obsessive, relax and enjoy the process!
Romaine, baby romaine... who cares? I have been eating romaine all along as I cannot find baby romaine (and many other things) here. It's called The Plan, and plans are not written in stone LOL
Good luck!
