I got my fitness minutes back up, and I'm strength training three times a week and getting my butt kicked. I am also doing ab work at least three times a week. I weight 161 pounds on the lighter days. What's the problem? My pants are still tight. I have officially one pair of pants that is not too large or too tight. (Plus, I'm slightly bloated.) It's time to buy more pants; however, we can't do any extras for another few pay checks. We splurged on gifts for other people this weekend for birthdays and anniversaries, and the splurges weren't very large.
What a difference from when we were single.
The other reality is that I need to eat a little less again. Maybe 1300 calories a day. I am failing miserably at my fat grams, too. My goals for this week are to:
(1) Eat a little less at each meal and leave some food on the plate. (Oops so far with the oatmeal.)
(2) Rest from the gym 2 days only.
(3) Increase my cardio to 60 minutes a day, if my knee allows.
(4) Eat less fat and aim for 30 grams of fat a day.
(5) Start taking iron pills.
