Thank God, the weekend is over!

Monday, May 06, 2013

I work 1/2 day on Saturday. I usually take my mother to the grocery store on Saturday, but Iwent home because we are having a Home Energy Audit done and I need to do some cleaning. I did not eat much and Ronnie said wait until I got home, we would go and get something good. Ronnie has been really sick, have liver cancer and his feet look horrible he can hardly walk so it took until 7:30 to go get something. I just wanted to get some catfish fillets, bread them and baked in the oven. they come out as crispy as if you fry them. Instead by then no one could make their mind. We ended getting Fried catfish. I did not eat much and either did Ronnie so that was a waste and Angelo, our grandson got fried chicken which he definitely did not need. Sunday, I woke up not feeling well at all. Eating was not much better. What a disaster...

Ronnie's illness just saps all my energy. The one highlight the Indiana Pacer beat NY Knicks in Round 1 of the playoff.

Never thought I would be glad to see Monday, but I am back eating healthy....

Weekends are tough aren't they? I find that it's difficult to track, especially when we manage the needs of others.
I like how you turn to the positve though. Yes, it was a positive that was out of your control and about a sport team - yet - a positive! I keep a gratitude list every day. Each morning, I look back on the day before and list 5 things of which I'm grateful/successes/positives. I've found that it starts my day off with the right kind of KICK that I need!
Good Luck and continued success to YOU!
    Thanks for blogging!
