The Rest of the Week

Joined the motorcycle gang Tuesday morning. What a fantastic day for a ride. We ended up in Twain Harte for breakfast. Got home in plenty of time to get to rehearsal. Good rehearsal – still lots for me to do – the brain just isn’t working as well as it used to so more work ahead.
The guys getting ready to depart from Twain Harte:
Wednesday Dan & I went over to the new gym in the neighborhood. Some of the guys collected up equipment that people haven’t been using and put it in their hangar. Its open to anyone to use. We both did some exercises. I was being cautious as I did not want to be sore the next day. It worked as I am not sore today. The plan is to go over there Mon-Wed-Fri. Dan is my coach.
Thursday was a choir rehearsal at Sandra’s house. So glad she does these extra rehearsals for us.
Friday Dan and I flew with Larry and Rich to Bridgeport for lunch. Larry is a much smoother pilot than Rich. I was surprised at how much difference there was between the two styles.
Tuolumne River as we left PML:
There is still some snow in the high Sierra but not much:
Just outside of Bridgeport. I don't know what this body of water is named.
The restaurant where we had lunch:
When we got back home, Larry took us to look at some houses that recently came on the market. One looks interesting. We need to see if we can even get a loan before we move forward.
I finally got out of the house and zipped to Fremont hoping to make it to the bike shop before they closed. I made it…just barely. They cannot get Dan’s bike done until Tuesday night so it looks like it’ll stay there until next weekend when we come back to town.
