Half-marathon today for my daughter!

I'm so proud of my daughter - she ran her first half marathon today. She admits that her training wasn't as good as she needed to do but it's hard to do as much as she needed to while finishing up her semester at school. She ran her 1/2 in 2:36.36 and she rocked her last semester with a 3.895 grade point average! I think both were fantastic!
My exercise today was the 20 minute walk to Memorial Stadium in Lincoln from where we parked to watch Sarah finish her race and then another 22 minutes tonight at home. (0.86 miles that we walked from our car and then 1.23 miles tonight) We then helped Sarah pack up her apartment and move stuff into our vehicles to come home. We ate at Buffalo Wild Wings for lunch - one of Sarah's favorite places to eat and we figured it was her choice today. It'll be nice to have her home for the summer although she'll be working hard to make money before she heads to Slovakia in July.
It was so amazing to watch the runners finishing up today! I hope I'm able to finish as strong as the brave runners that we watched today.
