I asked him directly what he meant when he said he loved me. So my trainer explained himself via email. He said "There are many kinds of love and the love I feel for you is, I guess, a fondness. You're fun to be around. I look forward to seeing you and hanging out (he works me like it's my job. I guess I wouldn't call it hanging out!) . Kind of a relief to know. We've got a good thing going and I'm glad we are friends, and he's a really really good trainer, I get a lot out of our sessions and he wants to see me achieve better goals in terms of fitness. My weight loss is steady. I just decided that 2 pounds a week is a more realistic goal then concentrating on losing 30 plus pounds by August. My mantra is "what am I willing to do to lose 2 pounds this week?" and I find that works. I'm having a bit of a challenge when it comes to calorie intake. Some days I have to force myself to eat just to keep my metabolism up. I am trying to become more mindful about food and exercise. The last thing I want is for any of this to become a chore. But so far, so good and everything that is happening.

Kudos to you for asking for clarification, however awkward that may have been. If this was something that was bothering you -- it would definitely impede upon your mission. I'm glad all is going well for you! You Go Girl! emoticon

I like your new goal of 2 pds a week. I say my goal is 1 pound, but I know inside it is really 2. But whichever, I gain almost a kilo this week, so that keeps me at 1 pound a week. Am sure it is just water wait, ate a lot of salt. So keep on keeping on!
