I had decided to start thinking of my weekends as the beginning of the week, since usually I start the beginning with a great burst of energy and do well during the weekdays, but the less structured weekends are my downfall.
It worked! I managed to have breakfast out one day, had a (single) cookie the next, exercised, and still had good nutrition, AND had time to do the things I wanted to do. Oh, and I helped my husband get in a load of firewood for next winter.
Next weekend is Mother's Day, and I am planning ahead for the brunch I know will be part of the event. If you have some strategies for me to think about, let me know.
