I've been without my laptop all weekend, which has made it a little difficult for me to keep up with our nutrition challenge this week. However, I did remember to snap a photo of my breakfast yesterday half-way through. Plus, since I eat the same things every day, Lunch and Dinner were pretty easy to account for!
Here is my daily food blog for yesterday (Saturday) --
egg + cheese omelet, tomato (404 calories)
Brown rice + black beans + tomato + peppers + peas + corn + spices + little bit of bacon
Crumbled cotija cheese (~1/8 cup)
N.B.: I didn't eat my whole portion today. Not really hungry.
Smoothie (will probably be kale + peaches + strawberries + blueberries + yogurt + blood orange) - like the one pictured below
Will be 1/2 chicken breast, broiled
Pasta salad (pasta + broccoli + chickpeas + black olives + reduced fat italian dressing + feta)
Plus, I also had some trail mix for a snack (320 calories).
TOTAL FOR THE DAY:
1947 calories, which was technically low because my target was 2200. Oh well. :(
