I have to give a shout-out to my baby boy. (My baby boy will be 15 this month.) He is my greatest supporter as well as my greatest cheerleader. Out of everyone in my family, he's the one that keeps me on track. My mom (who always says that double-digit clothes sizes is sacrilege) says that I'm doing well, but then tries to push food on me (she's currently a size 2, which stresses her out, because her size 0s don't fit anymore). My husband really doesn't care. He says that he doesn't care what I look like, but then tells me I could stand to lose 20 pounds. My oldest son. . .well, he just loves me and truly doesn't care one way or the other.
But my baby boy. . .he is always there for me. Encouraging me and holding me back when I think about cheating. ("is that on your diet?" he'll ask. . .or "That's not on your diet! Give that to me!") He's just my rock. He's there with a hug when I need it and he's there to support me when I need it.
I was going through some of my clothes today, since I'm just running out of room. I tried on some pants that I wore last summer that were WAY too big on me. I went in his room to show him and he immediately threw his hand up and gave me a high five and told me what a great job I'm doing. It actually brought a tear to my eye.
Not sure what I would do without either of my boys, but I have to give a special shout-out to my baby. His support means everything to me while I'm on this journey!
