Good bye 3x clothing

Sunday, May 05, 2013

I got rid of the clothes that I had definitely outgrown, and while some of them were my favorites. I heard a small voice in the back of my mind telling me there were to reasonable options on what to do with them. One was to give them to my mom and so to get rid of them, and two was to keep them because who know you might need them again. I donít want to put the weight back on so there is no reason to keep clothes that donít fit me so option one won, I am very glad to say. Iíve known people who do this and while youíre not setting yourself up to fail per say, you are not fully believing in yourself, I still donít like shopping for clothes a whole lot but as I have lost weight its gotten a little bit easier each time. And one day it might be a joy rather than a pain, but if that never happens I still donít want to go back to dreading it completely. What I look forward to now is losing my entire current wardrobe because it doesnít fit right anymore and filling it with new clothes that fit the healthy body I am working towards. (I used to never wear jeans cause I hated how I looked in them, but now I canít wait to go jeans shopping)

Good job! I felt the same way - and being frugal as I am, I thought "Do I really want to do this?" - but I am glad that I did! I ended up with someone giving me SMALLER clothes! LOL!
