It's been an awesome weekend. The weather has been wonderful and we have gotten a lot accomplished around the house. All of the chores are done, and we cleaned out the shed, which needed to be done 5 years ago! We put a lot of stuff out to the road, and people scooped up most of it. There are only 2 Christmas tree stands left out there, and in May, not many people really want Christmas tree stands.
We picked out the stuff for our bathroom yesterday, tile for the shower and floor, counter top, cabinet, and fixtures. The bathroom should be done in 6-8 weeks, depending on when the contractor can get here. (It's not going to take 6-8 weeks, just scheduling and obtaining the materials needed to complete the job! ) I'm excited to have it done, although it's not the room that I would do first. Hubby has been hot on having the bathroom done for a couple of years now.
Hubby and I took an 8.23 mile walk this morning. We are going to walk a half marathon in September, so we are taking longer walks every weekend. My knee is killing me right now, and I will probably go for a cortisone shot sometime this week. Darned arthritis. Right now I have 27647 steps in. I probably won't get more than 400 more steps in before bedtime!
I'm not looking forward to going to work tomorrow. It's getting harder and harder to go every day. The sunshine calls my name. I wish it would rain during the week, but be nice at lunchtime for my walks!
I am the only one who can do this for myself.

~ weigh and measure food today
~ journal thoughts and feelings surrounding eating today
~ smile at least once an hour
~ learn something new and remember what I learned
~ eat a fruit or vegetable with every meal and as one snack today
~ laugh out loud today
~ focus on this lifestyle I have chosen for myself and don't sweat the small stuff
