Hello Sunday

Well Rick and I found our way to the New Balance store, to find the most amazing experience I have ever had in a shoe store. An awkward moment, when the young man sat down and said "Let me see you walk" ummmm......OK??

So I did, then Rick did, then he explained our different needs in shoes, then pointed to the wall.....WOOOO HOOOOOO let me at them, I had my eye on some super multi colored bright out of this world looking ones, but they did not have them in stock, my second choice was the wrong fit for my needs, BUT....I spotted the HOT PINK SUPER BRIGHT FLUORESCENT NEED SUNGLASSES ones :) Yep they are all mine
Rick I am not sure wanted the CAN YOU SEE ME shoes, but I think he changed his mind quickly when he saw them....what the heck we are only this age ONCE, and if they make you and your feet happy who cares! We earned this, we are EARNING THIS, we are working hard, quit smoking and started moving, and eating better.

I am ready to see what the rest of being 49 will bring me .... we committed ourselves to a 5k walk/run...pretty sure I will only be walking, and I completed day 3 of week 1 of the 200squats challenge.

Now I just need to get some sewing done and get me another pair of shoes....LOL...these have 2 miles on them and I do NOT need another pair....but it is fun thinking about them.

Oh I love the shoes! I got a new pair several weeks ago fighting this plantar fasciitis I have. I ended up getting hot pink shoes with bright lime green shoe laces! I love them! Happy walking! emoticon
