Making progress in Bikram

I went to Bikram today and it was fantastic. The 90 minutes flew by, I tried my best at every pose, I did something new that I have never done in my whole life! There is a post caused standing bow where you reach down and grab your foot behind you (right hand, right foot). I have never been able to just grab my foot. I could stand by the wall and get my foot into my hand, but I never could just grab it without using the wall to assist. Today I grabbed my foot! It was amazing!

I am having a clean food day today too so I am making some progress on my Embracing 40 challenge. I also wrote my first letter today! It was to my daughter. :)

    How wonderful - isn't it great to see yourself progress? I love it when I can do a new move in yoga or even when I simply get better at a pose - it's so rewarding! YAY for you!

    Yay for foot grabbing!!! (I totally know what you mean - for some reason, I can do this on my right side but not my left!? Weird).

    OMG! I know how much getting that kind of control and balance must mean to you. About half the time now, I can put my pants on without holding on to something and it feels spectacular. GOOD FOR YOU!!! You've overcome that sleep-deprived night and moved forward! emoticon
