Today my 2nd grade CCD class made their 1st Communion. They couldn't have been more beautiful for the girls and more handsome for the boys. Three read the Scriptures perfectly, one read the Second Reading as eloquent as an adult, and the boy and girl who brought the wreath of flowers to place on Mother Mary's head were perfect. I could not have been more proud of them. God Bless them all!
The CCD Director bore with me through trial and error and I thank her for that.

You nare very blessed to have that experience! My daughter goes to a catholic school. We are not catholic but sometimes I think she forgets! She may convert some day and I won't be disappointed I love our priest and all the Pomp and Circumstance in the religion. Thanks to God for all he gives to us, good and bad.

Thanks for your comment on my blog! I love my husband and feel so thankful to God for bringing him into my life. It was no coincidence that we met and he gave us a wonderful life together.

Have a great weekend! emoticon emoticon emoticon

It sounds beautiful!!
In our church, the kids don't have communion until their confirmation in 8th grade. I love that as well. Children who are raised in the church seem to do everything nicely.
