Review of two evenings of embroidery

Sunday, May 05, 2013

AAAACK! I reviewed my practice satin stitch. WOW. I need to do these light colors in full daylight in the future. I skipped space. Wow, big time. Linen fabric shows between too many stitches.

I may just use three strands next time. I will see if that is better.

I am glad I am doing this - - but it is taking more time to re-acclimate than I though!!

Christmas projects are afoot and depend on my renewed acquaintance with embroidery!

ONWARD!!

YES. I will, indeed, "fix" my satin stitch by stitching in between, and slightly over the existing stitches. Now, to find great light at my desk for light-colored thread. Nothing is lost, and all is gained. emoticon

You could fix it by stitching over the areas you missed with more floss. You don't need to take it out or start over as long as you have more of the same color.
Stitching in more light is a good idea, though.
I love your determined sign-off! ONWARD!!
