Today I mowed the lawn. To some people it might not seem a lot but it was the first time in a long time that I didn't feel tired after mowing it.

I actually enjoy mowing the lawn (as long as it isn't too hot or humid). It gives me time to think and listen to music and reflect. I guess it's a bit of a meditation for me.

Here is my garden from two years ago. It was first time I felt better after being so ill. Last summer it was too hot to have a decent garden so it looked very brown even with all the watering I did. I never enjoyed gardening before owning my own home.

    That is beautiful!

    I understand about mowing the lawn; it's something I use to enjoy doing too, unless it was very hot and humid. Because of health problems relating to cancer and chemo, I had to give it up, but my niece and nephew do it for me now.
