Tracking

Sunday, May 05, 2013

Although very very tired, I must be getting much better because I tracked my breakfast for the first time in probably two months emoticon. Replaced Sweet N Low with Stevia, now I am looking to see if it is possible to glow the plant myself, but even if I do manage I still need to learn how to turn it into a product that can be used to sweeten drinks, if I succeed I will blog how it was done.

I've read the same thing. The leaves are quite easy to use. How easy it is to cultivate, that I don't know. Do let us know if you do...and good luck!

They are actually a pretty bush.
You can harvest and dry the actual Stevia leaf.
Once dry, it can be pulverized and sprinkled into whatever you want sweetened.

If you drink tea, you can also brew the leaf with loose tea leaves or bags.
If you use sweetener in your coffee, the leaf can be added to the grounds.

There are instructions on-line on how to make a tincture and concentrate.

Have fun!
