Things the scale cannot tell me

*"Thank you for being the perfect wife."
*"Thank you for being an awesome workout partner."
*How many miles I can get in before SWEAT.
*How many miles I will log this year.
*"You are tiny!" When I pick up a smaller size t-shirt than what I think I need and don't think I can fit into it because it is tiny.
*How much I can lift, squat, throw, pull up, run, or the progress I have made with each of these moves.
*How much I can push myself.
*"Awesome job!" When I kill a workout and come in top in the class. Which is what happened Saturday.
After letting fear get to me and choking me out of competition at the "SWEAT Games", I came back in a big way Saturday with a little competition that has been started at our gym. SWEAT Torque has been introduced to our program a few times a week at the gym. My workout partner and I decided to try this after spinning a few miles to warm up:) We had no idea what we were getting ourselves into, and quite honestly I was not nearly as nervous as I was last Saturday. Probably because we were at our "home" gym and not in a gym we had never been to.
The workout was to complete as many rounds as possible in about 20 minutes.
walking lunges with a kickback
wall ball #10
200 meter run
I got in 6 rounds and had started a 7th and my time was 18.29. I also beat the trainer's time.
My partner and I then jogged back to my house, she continued back to the gym, and I kayaked the rest of the afternoon away in some pretty rough water.
11 miles spinning
6.8 miles kayaking
1 mile to gym and back home
524.9 miles for the year
Off for a hike with the pups:)
