I need a little problem solving

Sunday, May 05, 2013

Can anyone give me advice on eating cheap but healthy? At the end of each week I only have about 20-30 dollars after bills and I end up not eating enough I don't think. I also end up buying for 2 because of my boyfriend.

A little help would be appreciated!

Avoid processed, prepackaged foods. Make a meal plan for the week and only buy what you need for those meals. That way there's no waste. Try adding beans to your meals. They're filling and cheap. Shop sales and try stores like Aldi's. Look for coupons. You can often get great deals from the manufactures websites and also on some of the coupon websites. If your income is low enough you also might be able to get some help at a food pantry or the Salvation Army. I would also ask your boyfriend to contribute a little bit if he is eating over regularly. Good luck. Hope that these ideas help a little.
