This week I lost 2.6 pounds and although it would have been nice to lose six like I did my first week, that's unrealistic. I've decided though, if I can keep a two pound a week weight loss I'm not going to track my food. I'll just eat mindfully. I do know a bit about nutrition so my weight gain didn't come from not knowing pine nuts were high in calories, it came from eating not one but a whole pack of Pepperidge Farm cookies in a day. I figure if I can stop that and concentrate on healthy food I can skip the food tracking.
That's what I'll do for now, however I will start tracking exercise. Exercise for me is the key to weightloss more than anything. Food tracking is time consuming and tedious, I'll do it if I have to but I have enough to do without adding that chore to my day.
