Mother's Day Lesson

Sunday, May 05, 2013

I remember one Mother's Day when my (now ex) husband told me; "You are mot my mother, so don't expect a gift from me. I told him not to worry. Sam and Matty will find something for their Mommy.
I took my buys down to the store, and we shopped. My sons were quite generous for being just 2 and 5 years old. We had a great time shopping! When the next Mother's Day came around, the boys went shopping with their Dad. Yes, men can learn quickly. emoticon

Even the pasta necklaces are good! I've gotten so many little plants and stuff the kids made. All good. I'll bet your boys have never forgotten Mother's Day

I used to love the Mother's Day gifts my kids made for me in school. After that, just seeing them is gift enough.

My hubby says that to me too only he is joking when he says it. He always gets me flowers or takes me to dinner with the kids because as he says to me after he says that "You are the mother of my children and that rates big time." He is a sweetie. After 40 years I think I will keep him!!

I still cannot believe you are a grandmother!!! You do not look old enough to have even kids who are teenagers!!!
