Restless Night

Another day, another party. I kid you not. I had to bail out early again because I was exhausted. I went to bed at around 10:30 last night, but I didn't fall sleep until around 1:00, and I woke up again at 4:00 (am). It took me two hours to fall back asleep after that. I still can't figure out why some weeks I do fine and other weeks I can hardly sleep at all. Maybe while I'm doing this I'll find an answer to that too.

The folks decided we needed KFC for dinner which was super helpful, but I managed all right anyway. Luckily for me fried chicken makes me feel pretty ill, so I don't actually have any desire to eat it. If it were steak, today might have gone differently. It wasn't though and I managed to stay within my calorie limits.

I also went for a walk. My dad bought the new Airborne Toxic Event album, so I got to listen to that while I walked, and that helped counter the low energy a bit. The new album is amazing, by the way. I totally recommend checking it out if you're a fan of that kind of music.

Anyway, not sure how coherent I am right now, so I'm going to stop now while I'm ahead.

  sorry you are having trouble sleeping. they say that following a regular timetable will help, but i've had trouble with that myself. you might be too stimulated to sleep. i know when i have something on my mind, i have trouble falling asleep.
