It feels weird to write it: I ran for 20 minutes straight. When I started C25K, I could hardly run more than 1 minute without feeling like I was going to die. And now here I am, running for 20 minutes.
The only disappointment is my lack of speed. I hate being so slow. When I signed up for my 5K in September, my goal was to run it under 40 minutes. I thought it was a pretty easy goal. But now I'm not sure I'll be able to reach it. I'm not even sure I'll be able to run it under 45 minutes. I try to run faster but my legs just won't do it. I guess I'll have to really work on this this summer.
