April Results

Saturday, May 04, 2013

Here is my daily graph for April. I had a bad weekend, got back on plan, realized that for a week that my scale was broken. Currently I am just staying at the same place (I'm not sure if I am not eating enough or what since starting 30 Day Shred). My clothes feel the same and I've only lost 12 inches in four months. I switched from Weight Watchers to Simple Diet. I will probably switch back to Weight Watchers some time soon. I'm currently participating in the 30/30 challenge from Hooping.org and doing the 30 Day Shred. I'm currently on level 2. I've skipped two days. I have to do it after I get home today!

It's frustrating for me. I don't know why over the last two weeks that it's started to hurt. I know some people that have lost the same amount of weight and have lost 48 inches! What is wrong with my body?

I really need new shorts but I am not buying new shorts till I get to a smaller size. I really want people to notice the weight loss in May at Kinetic Fire. It seems that won't be happening though. :( I have upped what I've been eating (just feeling SO hungry lately). Small downspirals in weight.

Your body composition can change and the fat is replaced by muscles which weighs more. This will keep your scale stuck on the same weight or make it appear as if you weigh more. I had the same experience and finally realized what was happening. My body was getting smaller but not in the typical areas we measure. The areas I measured were a couple inches smaller but the areas that you don't measure were really smaller. I put on a size 4 bathing suit today. My thunder thighs are smaller and once you get past them I am tiny but I did not meausre this part of my torso. You can also have the same measurements but be measuring muscle and not fat. emoticon emoticon emoticon

Every body is different, please don't beat yourself up. Weight loss is very hard for me, I have PCOS and it effects weight loss a lot. I've only lost 8 inches in 60 days overall and 10lbs and been working out every morning and tracking what I eat. We just have to find what works for us. I finally started to see some numbers go down when I started eating Paleo. I don't know how interested you are, but look into it, see if it could help you.

I can understand how you feel. I've lost 34 lbs and I've only lost about 3 or 4 inches. It's frustrating but when I look in the mirror I can tell theres a difference and I'm sure the inches will follow. emoticon emoticon

Everyone's body is different and responds differently!! Just feel good about the changes that you DO see and eventually you'll be able to see more and more changes!

A watched pot never boils. You might be watching the pot too much. It's very frustrating when you do all you are supposed to do and it stays the same. I use the Spark People Diet and it works best! I have tried every diet and it's the best!
To each it's own! Don't give up the battle! emoticon emoticon
