Heart Rate Monitor Revisited
Saturday, May 04, 2013
My heart rate monitor arrived a few days ago, so I've had a little time to play with it. Being an inexpensive one, it doesn't do a whole lot of things, but I knew than when I ordered it. All I wanted, really, was to be able to know whether or not I was reaching my target range while exercising without stopping to take my pulse. It does that and tells time, is a top watch, and an alarm all for $33. I do have to wear a strap around my chest to use the heart rate function, and it can get a little itchy after a few hours especially if I get sweaty, but I don't need to keep it on that long, just while I'm exercising. I think it's going to help me get my metabolism revved up so I can start losing some of these pounds I've been carrying around for too long.
