Consistency and Rewards

I have continued my 10,000 steps per day, and today I am on lucky 13!

I set up a bunch of rewards for myself but I based them all on numbers on the scale. I don't know why it took me so long to realize that I can reward myself for other things, but I decided if I made 7 days of 10,000 per day, I would reward myself.

My reward is going to be acrylic nails. I used to have them and I loved them, but when I changed jobs I couldn't afford them anymore. They make me feel pretty and elegant, and I'm putting them back on next week.

I have also been working my Couch to 5K training consistently, doing it 3 times per week for the last 3 weeks. Unfortunately, I have been repeating Training Week 1 this whole time, but that's because I had to build my stamina back up after the pneumonia. On Monday, I'll be advancing to week 2!!

I have to decide what my next challenge and reward is going to be. Hmmmmm.

    Congrats on the consistency! You will see great results. I use non-food rewards all the time and it really helps me....small items then a big prize for a big goal....like new shoes or a dress or something. It really works for me. I hope those nails help you! Keep up the great work!
