I have been following the Runner's World beginners program for three weeks now. I have also been strength training to target some weak areas. With the tear in my tendon, I am trying to take it slow and avoid having to have surgery, so I have been on week one of the program for all three weeks. My ankle feels great compared to when I was just sitting around taking it easy. I think the activity is beneficial to the healing process. (At least I hope so!)
I felt so good today on my walk I did a couple of little "jogs". Nothing big, but just a little test. Then I came home and applied ice. I have to say, the stiffness seems to be diminishing! I am so happy!
