I only have 1.9 pounds to go to get to my goal weight, so I don't have much farther to go. For the new 5% challenge I will basically be maintaining. If I were to lose another 5% I would need to lose 8 pounds, which would put me at 153.9 pounds. I might be able to do that, but I don't want to lose too much more weight. I don't mind being slender, but I don't want to be skinny. I like having a few curves. That being said... I will get to 160 and see how I feel. If I think I can handle losing a little more then I will keep pushing. I am going to keep pushing myself in my workouts regardless, so I would need to start eating a little more. I don't know if I can really handle eating more though, so it will be a balancing act. Keeping up with my workouts on one hand, while eating what feels right on the other.
Speaking of eating... I made lunch for my parents and my brother today. We had green salads, and these almost quesadillas. I put beef, beans, onions and cheese on whole wheat tortillas. I didn't put the second tortilla on top, so I don't think they were really quesadillas, but they were mighty tasty. We had fresh, ripe cantaloupe for dessert. I washed the dishes, and then dad brought me home.
Today is a rest day, so I am going to sit and read a book for a while, before taking the dog out for his afternoon walk. The weather is beautiful for walking the dog today. Unfortunately it is the party weekend at the local college, so there are hordes of drunk college kids wandering around all over the place. Sigh... Was I ever that young?
