Rough night, better morning

Saturday, May 04, 2013

It probably won't surprise anyone who read my last blog that I hardly slept last night. Adding to the misery, my right leg kept trying to cramp all night. I inherited night leg cramps from my father, and they're miserable. I get a "warning pain" in my leg before I get one and I have to get up and walk around or it'll cramp, and it's agonizing. The pain will literally make you scream.

Anyway, I got up this morning, checked my bank balance online -- and the tax money is in! So now I can pay my rent (with late fee, but I really don't care about that) and relax.

WHEW!!! I'm having a hot breakfast this morning, which is my first hot meal in days (been eating a lot of sandwiches).

However, my boss is still not forgiven. That will take awhile.

I'm glad your tax money came in. Leg stretches 3 or 4 times a day helped me with leg cramps during the night.

emoticon that the money came in. And as for the boss, like was said a lot of it is harassment. To forgive him is hard. Because the anger and hurt don't stop just because it is your will to forgive. But what is better is that he doesn't win by you keeping all that poison bitterness inside you. Instead you have all the energy you would spend on that to use for better things. Forgiving doesn't mean you make what he did right. Or that you should lay down and let him keep doing that to you. It just means that you let go of it and let God handle him, and that my friend is something he doesn't want in his life. God is very protective of His children when they are wronged. Just as you would be if someone wronged your son, and you are not ALMIGHTY like God is. And I agree- you super really deserve to take some of the refund money and treat yourself. Not only because you have been through so much lately but also because you are worth it just because of who you are! emoticon

I am so glad the money came through in plenty of time! I do agree with people who commented on your previous post-talk to HR about the paycheck situation. It wasn't your fault, and they should be willing to make it right before the next paycheck. Hope thing keep getting better!

When I get a leg cramp, usually in the middle of the night, I keep a small bottle of soda water in the refrigerator, with quinine, doesn't taste great but it is ok and always takes care of my cramps, not sure why. but give it a try

Glad to hear that your refund came in!
I hope you're documenting all this **** at work. A lot of what you've been experiencing is harassment, which is illegal. BTW, your boss sounds like a twit.
I hope you're planning on getting at least one thing nice for yourself with your refund. With everything you've been going through, you deserve something nice right now.
Take care.

I am sooooo very glad that you got your tax return. That eases a bit of the stress.

As for your boss, well, it seems easier NTO for forgive, and I'd have a hard time of it myself, but if you CAN forgive, then you'll feel a little better . . . not carry that bitter poison inside. You deserve better than that. FORGET?? Nope, sure wouldn't do that . . . that would eean forgetting the lesson(s) learned.

As for the leg cramps, are you on a calcium supplement? You should be taking Calcium and also vit. D and magnesium which helps the calcium absorb. I know how annoying and downright painful those charlie horse type cramps are.

Sending you huge hugs and just glad you're feeling a little better.

Don't you have a 5 day grace on your rent? Are you getting enough calcium in your diet? and drinking enough water? Those leg cramps are not fun!
