Hopped on the scale today and it went down another lb!!!! For a total of -39 lbs.
I just don't know what to do with myself I am so excited.
Today I am going to be at Lehigh Valley Mall, for sis's gig, and I will be sitting in the mall area, reading my kindle and drinking my juice.
To make today successful I am preparing myself for the day. It's a mall and it smells really good in there. That is why I won't walk around. Starbucks is in the middle of the mall, and further down is a cinnabon. Also a whole slue of restaurants. I will avoid temptation by not going close to them. I already did my exercising so I don't have to worry about that. I am making my juices in a few min to bring along and a big bottle of water with lemon. I have my chewing gum and teas with monk fruit if I need something warm. I also have my drawing pad, and markers and pencils to create if I feel the need.
The reason I have been able to make it this far with success is because I have been prepared all the way through. I never go anywhere without water, juice and my teas, because best laid plans always have a way of running awry. Even if you think you will be out of the house for 5 min, take these with you as you can end up not returning for 5 hours. That way you don't let hunger and old memories of how things taste win you over. I say No to people all the time. I have avoided situations and stopped others from bringing food in my house. Some may call it drastic but I wanted success and I decided to put me first.
Spent most of the day yesterday researching how to break a fast and with all the tips from veterans on this plan I am ready for that too! Made my list today of produce (Dad will be getting those) including some avocados and peppers! MMM I cannot wait to
eat again LOL.
Today is Holy Saturday and I will be skipping Midnight Mass. Greeks celebrate everything with food. After midnight mass we break the Red eggs, a soup made with the innards of a goat or lamb (very fatty - and I usually just sip the broth), a special Easter Bread and homade pitas (spanakopita,tyropita) and cheeses. It's like a carb fest. The same is repeated on Easter Sunday with the addition of Lamb.
I am skipping Easter too.
If I would go from a fast to this kind of celebrating I know I would end up in the hospital with a gallbladder attack LOL. I am blessed because my sister has joined me in this journey so we will be drinking mean green :D
Ok off to get things ready for the afternoon.
