May 4, 2013...post breakfast and starting the day

Saturday, May 04, 2013

Ok. I had breakfast and lots of it...we will see how this serves me. I had a big hearty microwave meal and I will track while it is fresh in my mind. The day is warming up quick...so thankful. The lambs are all doing great. My sick baby is up and able to keep up with the other lambs...in the greenhouse. He probably would lag behind out in the open...they run up/down the ramp and across the yard like nutcases. I will put them out on grass in an hour.
The ponies are all turned out and delighted to enjoy the pastures. I have hay to maneuver back into it's position in the barn but the ponies are ignoring it with the grassy pasture at their ankles.
Today I have a list to go get more supplies for the arena...the purlins to tie the uprights together for better stability. I will leave and go secure that before noon. One piece at a time.
I stopped and spoke to a neighbor on my hay trip this morning. I rarely see folks out so I stopped when he was fetching his paper. He had lived here for 45 years. I think he lost his wife recently. That is the only problem ...maybe not for some...of being really rural...not as much contact with neighbors. Hopefully I will get to know more folks as time goes on.

I bet his little heart is full of joy at being able to run in the grass. Anticipation fulfilled!

We live in a very big city, and we still don't know very many neighbors. People mostly stay in their house, unless they have a dog to walk. DH has met some people in the area because they walk their dogs in the morning when he takes his walk.

So happy for Hughey. He'll be frolicking with the others out in the grass before you know it!

I am sure you will burn off the calories from breakfast. Breakfast is the most important
meal of the day.

I am very sure that you made your neighbors day by talking to him. When some one is grieving as he still must be, it is good to talk to other people. In time I am positive you will get to know all of your neighbors even if they do not live really close by.

I am glad your lamb who was sick is doing much better.

HAVE A GREAT DAY! emoticon

GOD BLESS!
Louise

And see the good you did for your neighbor! Not an easy time for him, I'm sure.

When I saw the title of your Blog...I thought, now that's the way to lose weight, send your breakfast to someone else! LOL

Glad all is well
Have a blessed day....
