Great blog, read the whole thing and soaked in every word. Giving serious thought to showing up for the marathon next year. I live about 20 minutes away.

Great blog Jerome! Glad you were able to meet up with some Sparkies while you were at it! We were at the memorial a few years ago. They have done a beautiful job with it.

Great blog! My cousins live in Moore, OK and always participate. One cousin does the relay and the other runs the full 26.2. This year she ran it in 3:44 and took 19 minutes off her best time. (I tell her she is hardcore.)

I'm not even close to marathons and I'm not sure if I'd ever want to run that far! I like the 5K's, for now, and may try a 10K in the future. I have a few friends that tell me that I'll do a 1/2 marathon someday. We'll see!

Thanks for sharing your run and giving me inspiration. I'm new to this "running thing" and always thought runners were "crazy." I guess I'm crazy now, too!
