Snow Banks

Saturday, May 04, 2013

4 days into May and we still have some snow banks. Totally crazy I know. This has been a crazy winter for Minnesota and the states next door.
Its raining right now and I am hoping that will knock those banks down. We put pumps in some low lying areas to dry the yard up. Warmer weather is supposed to be here next week. Yippee
My plants are doing well in my greenhouse. There will be flowers for the wedding after all. I am very happy about that.
I hope you all are doing well. I am able to continue to eat well and swim though I don't have any time for charting at this time.
Hugs
Dee

I have only a couple little piles of snow that should be gone by the time I get home. My plants are doing well and am so anxious to get them out whenever the weather permits!

We finally got rid of pretty much all of the snowbanks, but still waiting for the arrival of the sun, as it's been dreary and rainy most every day, plus lots of cold wind! Your snow should be gone soon, and hopefully the sn will come out to warm up the earth and make those flowers grow!

I hope it warms up in your neck of the woods soon. I'm so tired of our hot-cold-hot-cold weather, in WI.

Nice that your flowers are doing so well, and will be a great help for beautiful coloring for the wedding. Our snow has melted and with the rain and snow yesterday the grass is turning green. I can hardly wait for the warm uo this week, I am done with cold, windy, nasty weather. However, we will be leaving on vacation this coming Friday for three weeks in the S.W. states--where it has been hot. I guess summer clothes will be packed, but we will need to wear warmer clothes for the beginning of the trip, and for the chillier night times if it happens.

    Your yard will be beautiful.

It is snowing here right now. I'm wondering whether the lake will thaw before it freezes again in the fall!

Hey--at least you don't live in Alaska! Not only do we still have lots of snowbanks, but I got up this morning to see it snowing more snow. AAAAAUGH! emoticon

Wishing you much warmer weather soon! Our pattern has become warm with rain that brings a cold spell for a couple of days, then back to warm again. We've mowed 3 times now! I tell you this to give you hope that it will be the same for you very soon! Well, maybe you don't want the rain part of it right now, but definitely the warm is coming.
