A busy day today, beginning with two hours of Zumba. I SO didn't want to get up but I made it in time and two hours later was pleased I did, I felt great! The extra zumba I did in my holiday has really paid off, I am noticeably fitter and have increased my stamina but avoided injury. My foot that troubles me sometimes when I overdo it does hurt a little during the second hour, but I modify my steps and so far the pain disappears and doesn't recur when I get home.
Today decided to have a steak day in order to push my weight down to the lowest reading from when I started consolidation. So I have eaten a delicious sweet New Zealand Rose apple, so crunchy and pink, and 300g of steak, now I feel stonkered.
When I got home I decided to take advantage of the marvelous warm weather to prepare and sow the lawn that needed repair after the drainlayer. So I spent from 10.30 to 3pm in the garden. My dear old cat helped out, every time I bent down he came up and purred,, he was great company. At the moment he is sitting on DH, having a snooze. I think he has missed having me around this week as he got used to having my company most of April, which was a holiday month for me.
So quite a bit of exercise for me today, and not a lot to eat. Hopefully it will pay off tomorrow with the release of an extra lb or so.
Whatever happens, and for us a wintry rainstorm is forecast, I think I will make an effort to exercise tomorrow. Often Sunday is a rest day for me but I think I am having too many rest days so I might go to the exercise room at work after I go to the farmer's market and put in a little bit of time on the weights machines and the cross trainer. (Because I think I might be just a little stiff after all that gardening.) I don't need to have a long session, I get 7 hours exercise a week over four days, more some weeks. I'm pretty sure I will have the place to myself on a Sunday.
DH and I are planning to go to the movies tomorrow, I felt I might not stay awake for a movie tonight, LOL!
Anyhoo that's me in the first week in May. A Sparkaversary coming up next month so I want to reach it in good heart.
Hoping my fellow Sparkers have a great weekend, I see there is unseasonal snow in some parts of the US. Keep warm, and enjoy the spring.
