I did not actually accomplish any of the things on my relatively short to-do list today, but I still feel pretty good about my day anyway. I took a 30 minute walk earlier which was great. I'm not really sure why I've been so resistant to walking lately; I love being outdoors. I think maybe it's because for a while there going for a walk had the tendency to turn into an affair that lasted several hours, and I really don't have that kind of time. 30 minutes is good though.
My energy levels flagged as soon as I returned home, but I'm thinking that had more to do with a lack of good sleep last night than the exercise.
Then I had a party sprung on me at the last minute (one of the neighbors had a birthday and neither of my parents remembered to mention to me that we were going), so my day involved unexpected cake and beer. I did manage to keep my calorie count at 1200 despite that though, so that was cool. Plus I resisted the urge to go for that second hot dog! Totally proud of myself on that one, not going to lie.
Of course, I had to leave the party early to come home and crash. I was exhausted. I'm going to try to head to bed early tonight and see if that doesn't help.
