I agree that it is not all about the number on the scale. When I began my weight loss journey, the scale got stuck for 1 year. However, there were a lot of changes happening on the inside that were not being reflected by the number on the scale.

Focus on what you have accomplished and keep doing all the things that got you this far.

Can't you do maintenance for a while and enjoy what you've done? Keep on exercising as your body needs it anyway and concentrate on foods that make you really energised? It's not all about weight - it's about treating ourselves really, really well. Take the focus off the weight and just nurture yourself for a while. After all, you are worth it emoticon

Rosie Dear, your body just might be wanting to stop and think and adjust to what you have lost and for the muscle you've built too, in the meantime. You've done so well! Your body is just probably going, "Awwww!" You could try to change your diet and exercise and shake your body into submission, to get going down again. Hang in there and keep sparking and you will be successful! My RA med. has finally kicked in and I'm feeling so much better and I'm trying to get the eating down to more healthy and the exercise increased too! We can show our bodies that we mean business!! emoticon emoticon to you, Karen

look at the success you have already had; put one foot in front of the other and keep moving. baby steps are better than no steps.
    Have a great weekend! emoticon

Your mission Idahoflower, should you decide to accept it, http://www.sparkpeople.com/myspark/

We all seem to go through times when the scale doesn't move and it gets discouraging. Have you taken your measurements? Some times you will notice more results from the tape measure than the scale.
