Weekly update: This week I made homemade canned stuff. Strawberry jam, pear jelly with crushed pineapple jam, apple jelly, apple-peach jelly, peach jelly and homemade apple sauce. That was Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday I went on a marathon shopping trip to Hagerstown Outlet where I spent the day with a friend shopping, walking, standing from 9 am to 6 pm. That was fun but exhausting. Then Thursday was my grocery shopping day. After shopping comes putting things away. That means pre-making hamburgers for the freezer, cutting whole chickens into several frozen meals and stocking up and cleaning the pantry. On my feet at least 3 hours. And then I mowed the lawn for 45 minutes. Then today I vacuumed the house and mopped the floors and did laundry.
I find that I feel better when I do work as exercise rather than just exercise. I do not feel like I am wasting my time that way. I would really like to do some fun stuff like swim laps, badmitten, or dancing but I have no one to share it with so I rarely so it.
I plan to make some of my diet cookies. Oatmeal, peanut butter, cocoa, and as little sugar as possible are some of the ingredients. That way at least most of the cookie is healthy. I will probably have fish for dinner and make my son some homemade fries. I will eat pickled beets or broccoli.
All is well. Sherlock is healthy and active. Have a great week end!
PS: ALL the canned stuff was made with low or no sugar pectin.
