I made my weight goal!!!

Well, in 4 weeks, I was able to drop 10 pounds! I can't thank Spark People enough because I know I wouldn't have been able to do it without them. I come to the site multiple times every day to track every morsel I put in my mouth. It has also kept me motivated to keep on exercising. I usually hate exercise and will find any excuse to skip it! But, the site just keeps reminding me that I need more minutes or calories burned. I am now exceeding my goal of 3 hours per week. I am riding my bike 10 miles every other day, using my Bowflex every other day, and as of tomorrow, will start Kayaking again. Yippee! I love Kayaking because it is so peaceful, but yet, a great workout. Anyway, going to get my cholesterol checked next week. Can't wait to see if my numbers have dropped considering all the positive changes I have made in my life style. All for now.

    Just got my latest LIPID Panel results and they astounded me. My total cholesterol went from 239 to 161. Awesome! I am so happy. I am more motivated than ever to keep up my new lifestyle forever. I truly believe it is the balance of actually doing cardio exercises and eating much more healthy. I am now bike riding 10 miles 3 times a week, Bowflex 2-3 times a week and kayaking on the weekend. Good luck to everyone else. If I can do it, so can you! emoticon
