I have a friend who is doing Crossfit. The photos of her working out made me feel intrigued, ashamed, motivated, and afraid. After seeing her in person and how amazingly fit she is, I felt even more motivated that I need to get off the couch, away from the computer, and do something.
I don't think Crossfit is for me, at least not right away. It looks rather intimidating and expensive. But I feel like I should do SOMETHING. I just don't know what. I don't know where to start.
I rode my bike to work and home yesterday and I felt really good. I didn't go very fast or push myself very hard, but I felt energized and happy because of doing it.
So, what are my goals? I guess I want to be more fit and build strength in my upper body. Those aren't very specific, I realize. I guess I will take a look at the programs and challenges and see what interests me.
