Successful restaurant strategy

I did something last night that worked very well. We were invited to join some friends for the wife's birthday at a local restaurant. It's a Mexican restuarant and not one of mu favorites. I got online looked at their menu, was dissappointed that they didn't have nutritional values, but went ahead and looked at all the entrees and decided what I would order. I got a tortilla taco basket salad with shredded chicken without the basket. I told the waitress I just wanted the salad, no tortilla basket. This salad had no refried beans. I didn't even finish it and gave it to my husband. NO WEIGHT GAIN HIS MONRNING. YEAH!!! I'm going into Las Vegas for a Women of Faith conference today and I'm a little concerned about eating so many meals out but I commit to not being tempted by things I shouldn't eat. I want to come home and not see any gain on the scale.
