The invaders

Friday, May 03, 2013

They are coming in droves. It is like an invasion. Why have they picked me to invade?
I hate them, with their 4 little legs, small body and even smaller head. They came from dust like I did, and they will go back to dust, if they don't leave my home. First one, than another, as they enter my bedroom, then travel to the living room, and the kitchen. I have no food hanging around for them, so they should leave. Sometimes, they go on the ceiling, too high for me. That is when I call dh, as he is tall, and he can get rid of them. I watch as they start to travel down the wall, but once they see me, they run. I try to catch them but they outsmart me and get away, to live another day. When I go to sleep at night, I awake to make a full check to make sure they are not working the night shift. Where are they coming from? I wish I could find their home base. Today, as I looked around there were none. I wonder have they left?
I think not. They are in hiding planning how to aggravate me some more. My eyes look up and there is one, a little bigger than the average that were coming. He must be the leader of the pack. Do I dare try to send him to dust. Where is something I can use? Ah, a book, that would be heavy enough. Darn, he got away as I yelled,Tell your other spider friends if they do not want to become dust again, they better leave me alone. I wait and look, none tonight. I wonder if he gave his friends the message as I close one eye, while the other is open watching to see if they will return.
